Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, my name is YoungEun. I am happy that you are here. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, holding a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. I provide online therapy and coaching in Korean and English. I help my clients find a better way to deal with anxiety, depression, burnout, and identity crisis by navigating their pain points and strengths in a safe space. My therapeutic approach is mindfulness-based humanistic psychology with an existential frame of reference. I focus on identifying your strengths and personal resources to help you explore intrapersonal and interpersonal distress. I also encourage awareness of cultural diversity and honoring differences. If you can't sleep because of the questions of ?what if,? if you feel your personal growth has stalled, or if you don't feel fully understood because of your unique history, I am here to sit down with you and listen to your story. I appreciate building a genuine therapeutic relationship where gratitude and mutual respect can grow. In this therapy space, you can bring any topics or questions that feel heavy. There is no rule and no set direction. Together, we will find the underlying pain while talking about your daily life experiences. I have always wondered what defines who I am-is it nature or nurture? If I had a different childhood experience, would my life have been different? These questions led me to another: if I can change something small now, can I have a better life tomorrow? I wanted to explore this journey with others, and that is how I became a therapist. I hope you join me on this special journey toward a better version of you.
