N. Charle Morcos,
Dr. Morcos is really an amazing doctor and you could tell he really cares deeply for his patients. However I will not be going back which has nothing to do with Dr. Morcos and that is the sad part. First I waited for 2 hours, Dr. Morcos was clearly extremely busy that day and he was sure to explain to me that he had some very serious cases that came in that morning...my case was not so serious and he spent so much time with me I can only imagine he would spend much more time with other more serious cases. But like I said this has nothing to do with Dr. Morcos himself but instead his TERRIBLE staff member. I understand she was also very busy that day but I sat there patiently for 2 hours and when she finally called my name I literally had to run after her to follow her into the exam room where she proceeded to talk so fast I couldn't understand what she was asking me to do and not once said hey thanks for waiting. She spoke to me with her back turned the entire time with the same warmth as a prison guard. When she asked me to undress for the EKG (my first ever) she did not even leave the room so I could have some privacy and when I hadn't undressed properly because she was talking so fast in her directions I was scolded by her. I barely had enough time to put my clothes back on (again in front of her) before she was out the door and asking me to follow her. After my exam Dr. Morcos asked her in front of me to fill my Rx which she clearly acknowledged and asked if I could wait a few hours to pick up (because they were so busy) to which I said no problem. Later that evening (5 hours later) I went to the pharmacy after work where they had no Rx for me. At this point I was feeling SO much worse than i did before I went into the doctor. I left her a message to call me in the morning which never happened so I ended up calling her again to ask her to call in the Rx which se said she would do right away. TWO hours later she called me to ask for the pharmacy information. I didn't see the call because I was working and getting ready to leave town later that afternoon. When I saw the call I was on my way to the pharmacy before i went to the airport. I had to call her AGAIN and this time had to give her the pharmacy information including googling the address and phone number...its a Rite Aid ITS LISTED and Dr. marcos seemed to know exactly which one I was talking about. She also asked me what the medication was called....HOW WOULD I KNOW??? Finally over 24 hours later I was able to get my Rx. Only after realizing that she had given the Pharmacy my wrong phone number (which she called earlier) wrong address and spelled my name incorrectly which was a whole new ordeal. To be Candid I went in for anxiety and this experience literally sent me over the edge. It is one thing to be busy at your job but when you decide to be in health care and have no warmth or competence you are in the wrong industry. I would have had better luck at a free clinic. I am saddened that I will have to find a new doctor now because Dr. Morcos is really incredible but I just can't risk another experience like that.
