Very professional and knowledgeable doctor and lovely person ! Less waiting time , being examined right away! Adequate explanation of examination and good communication. Very polite and has a courtesy!
Dr Halpern is very professional, friendly, and down to earth. I can totally trust her and it is really nice talking to her. The other women working there are all really kind and helpful.
Very gentle and she made me laugh when I had to get a procedure done which was hard. Her office staff is nice as well. Dr Rohde is very knowledgeable and warm. I would definitely go again.
Just amazing! Very pleasant and professional. Couldn’t have been dealt with in a better way.
The office is not very clean, but Dr. Shah is always very quick and I trust her medical opinion.
Doctor was really polite with me, her assistant in Blond hair also. I liked attitude and professionalism in this office. What I didn't like was her other assistant in glasses and brown hair. She was rude. Anyways I highly recommend
Extremely friendly, funny and personable. Dr. Carol is highly knowledgeable and can immediately put you at ease! I am currently trying to schedule an appointment for my mother with Dr. Carol Livoti. I would definitely recommend her to both my family and friends.
was knowledgeable and informative but a bit sloppy and distant. seems like the office and the dr. need a quick spruce up !
Incredible practitioner. Not only did he give me a thorough visit with full history and physical, but he answered every single one of my questions and provided a pleasant experience.
Great Doctor! Totally recommend her. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions clearly.
I've been seeing Dr. Blanton for a few years. She's always friendly and very efficient. I was there for a check-up and was in and out of the office within thirty minutes (and that included updating insurance.)
Making an appointment is almost pointless. They take walk-ins as well and it works out to be 1st come, 1st served. The medical assistants are not the brightest either; struggling with everything from the fax machine to using the phone to retrieving medical records to scheduling patients... The doc however, is great.
Dr Fuchs was very informative and friendly. She informed me of my opinions and answer all my questions . Her staff was very professional and friendly also. I would highly recommended her.
Obstetrician-gynecologists (OB-GYNs) provide preventive care to women. They have specialized training in diagnosing, managing and treating conditions affecting the female reproductive system. Their expertise in this field distinguishes them from general physicians and makes them primary care doctors for women. Obstetrics and gynecology, on their own, are two different medical specialties: Gynecology mainly focuses on the well-being of reproductive organs—the ovaries, vagina, uterus, etc., while obstetrics deals with pregnancy and childbirth. An OB-GYN is a doctor who is trained in both obstetrics and gynecology. Common reasons to visit an obstetrician-gynecologist are unusual vaginal discharge or bleeding, STD or STI screenings, cancer, and sexual dysfunction, to name a few. Women also visit obstetrician-gynecologists for infertility problems, menopause, pregnancy, family planning, PCOS, hysterectomy and postpartum care.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that all women have annual visits with their OB-GYNs. An annual visit generally consists of a general exam (BMI, weight, height and blood pressure checks), a pelvic exam and a breast exam. Apart from this, immunization and screenings can also be conducted during this visit. The need for screenings depends on a woman’s age, family history and lifestyle. Three of the main screenings carried out by an OB-GYN are:
It is best-advised to visit a doctor annually, even if you don’t have an existing condition or symptoms. It is a preventive measure to keep your health on track.
OB-GYN visits for teens
According to The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a girl’s first OB-GYN visit should be between the age of 13 and 15. This visit focuses on providing them with reproductive health guidance and preventive health services. Typically, it does not include a pelvic exam, unless the doctor deems it necessary. This visit can also prove to be a great platform for teenage girls to discuss different aspects of sexuality and learn about the risks of sexually transmitted infections and diseases. The doctor aims at providing information on bodily changes and guidance around other gynecologic health topics.
