Embracing Emotional Freedom
My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care with a strong focus on nervous system regulation and practical skill development. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and attachment-informed approaches to help clients understand both the psychological and physiological components of stress, anxiety, and trauma.
A key distinction in my work is the integration of nervous system stabilization with cognitive and behavioral strategies. Many clients know why they feel overwhelmed but struggle to regulate their bodies. I help clients build emotional regulation skills that create immediate relief while also addressing deeper patterns that sustain long-term change.
I have experience working in high-intensity environments including healthcare, corrections, and complex trauma settings. This background informs my steady, structured, and solution-oriented style. I work well with individuals who are accustomed to performing at a high level but feel internally depleted, burned out, or disconnected.
Therapy in my practice is collaborative, direct, and goal-oriented. Clients can expect warmth, clarity, and accountability. My focus is on building internal stability, strengthening boundaries, and helping clients move forward with confidence.
