Evolve Counseling Services, LLC
At Evolve Counseling Services, I use an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to each individual, child, and family rather than a one-size-fits-all method. Depending on the client's needs, I draw on play therapy, CBT, DBT, and EMDR, always meeting children where they are developmentally rather than expecting them to meet me where adults communicate.
My background sets my practice apart. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with Creek County CASA, taught in the private sector with a focus on neurodivergence, and supported individuals and families through Good Shepherd Hospice during end-of-life care. Those experiences shaped a philosophy centered on meeting people exactly where they are — whether that's a child who communicates through play rather than words, a learner who processes differently, or a family navigating one of life's hardest transitions.
I believe healing happens through connection, not correction. My approach is collaborative and judgment-free: no jargon, no shame, just clear guidance and practical strategies that hold up in real life, not just in the therapy room. I work closely with parents and caregivers throughout the process, because I've seen that lasting change happens when the whole family understands what's driving a child's anxiety, behavior, or struggles, and feels equipped to support it at home.
