Long Thread Psychotherapy

I practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy, which means that I treat symptoms as a kind of language that is unique to each person. I believe it is important to listen to symptoms, rather than see them as something to be eradicated or simply “managed.” Since I am also an art therapist, I bring my imagination and creativity to this process, regardless of whether art becomes part of the treatment. Everybody has stories that need to be told, heard, and witnessed in order for healing to begin. Trauma that is silenced is trauma that is perpetuated.
