Dr. Mouazeb has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years and has owned her private practice, First Family Care Medical and Dental, for 9 years. Her patients affectionately call her Dr. Maya. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from New York University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Maya completed her residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital's Oral and Maxillofacial Department, graduating in 2000. She then worked in a private practice in Chicago for four years and became one of the first dentists hired by Dental Dreams, the largest dental practice chain in America. Dr. Maya later returned to Brooklyn to co-found First Family Care Medical and Dental with her husband, Dr. Jack Fatiha. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Maya enjoys the challenges dentistry provides and is dedicated to finding the best possible solutions for each patient's dental health. She cherishes the relationships she has built with patients and team members over the past 9 years and looks forward to many more years of creating beautiful, healthy smiles in the community.
