I had booked a 9 o’clock appointment, I arrived at 8:45. The receptionist was not there to check anybody in and I found out two other people were waiting. Also had a 9 o’clock appointment. Once the receptionist got there, it took her 15 minutes to take my paperwork from me. It is now around 9:15. The two other patients in the waiting room were called before I was. It is now 945. Another girl at the desk saw me sitting there for quite some time asked me if I had seen in which I replied no and so she inquired. Then the original receptionist, which didn’t know what day it was basically. She says to me after asking for my ID, took all my paperwork, and told me to have a seat, she calls me up at 10 o’clock to the front desk and tells me that the doctor doesn’t take my insurance. I was livid.I had asked why the insurance was not checked and somebody call me prior to the appointment so that I did not waste my time sitting there. Not only was I sitting there for an hour,

I was contacted multiple times via phone and text to confirm insurance and confirm the appt. The late morning of the appt I was called to be advised that the Dr did not specialize in what I was seeking treatment for. When I went on zoc doc and over the phone with a person I advised them of why I was visiting the dr. Not once did they say that he did not specialize. It’s on the zoc doc profile. They cancelled the appt that I booked two weeks in advance the day of the appt. Then continued to send texts asking if I was attending the appt. I am very disappointed and wasted two weeks of time trying to find the specialist his profile claimed he was.
