Dr. Brian M. Cable, MD

Dr. Brian M. Cable, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon
100 Hospital Dr, Montrose, PA
Medicine is a shared responsibility, a combined effort between you and me. As a physician, I must have the requisite technical skills, knowledge base, and communication skills. Those qualities, along with your commitment to a full recovery, provide the best results. I earned my Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles. I completed an internship in Orthopedic Surgery at Texas Tech University and pursued a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of Pennsylvania. These experiences have shaped my approach to patient care. Medicine allows me to serve others in a meaningful way. Orthopedic surgery is mentally and physically challenging but also rewarding because most musculoskeletal conditions can be treated in ways that significantly improve a patient’s quality of life. During 15 years of practice, I have volunteered at multiple free clinics in underserved areas and find the work extremely rewarding. Most of these patients are in desperate need of orthopedic care and are very appreciative. My downtime is often spent with my three children, engaging in outdoor activities such as tennis, hiking, skiing, or some form of physical exercise. When feeling particularly ambitious, I can be found practicing guitar.
